12 Weeks of FREE Bus Travel for Unpaid Carers

There’s some good news for unpaid Carers in the West Midlands! As part of the government-funded West Midlands Bus Scheme, you are likely to be eligible for 12 weeks of free bus travel. This initiative is being rolled out by Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) in collaboration with Forward Carers who manages Birmingham Carers HubWalsall Carers Hub and Carer Friendly Dudley.

What’s the Offer?

If you’re an unpaid Carer over the age of 16, living in the West Midlands and currently use the bus a few times a week, you can take advantage of this money-saving offer. You can benefit from 4-weeks of free bus travel via Swift technology and the nBus multi-operator bus ticketing scheme. This ticket allows unlimited travel across the entire West Midlands bus network, making it easier to get out and about.

How to Apply

Simply fill out the application form here. The application form will be active from the 28 October to 10 November 2024. Please remember that only one application can be processed per person, and eligibility will be determined based on your responses.
