LGBTQ+ Voices in Health – Help Shape Inclusive Carer Across Walsall + Wolverhampton
As part of LGBTQ+ History Month 2026, Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust and The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust are celebrating this year’s theme of Science, Innovation & Inclusive Care. They are recognising how data, evidence and lived experience help drive progress and improve the healthcare experiences of LGBTQ+ people across our communities.
The Trusts are currently exploring the creation of an LGBTQ+ Patient & Carer Forum across Walsall and Wolverhampton. This will help:
- Listen to and learn from LGBTQ+ patients, carers and families
- Shape more inclusive, welcoming and equitable services
- Co‑design improvements using evidence and lived experience
- Ensure dignity, respect and better access for everyone using our services
To support this work, the LGBTQ+ Voices in Health: Experience & Engagement Survey has been launched.

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous unless individuals choose to leave contact details to express interest in future involvement.
