Job Opportunity

Walsall Council has appointed Forward Carers to lead the new Walsall Carers Hub service to support unpaid family Carers in Walsall. Forward Carers’, partner, Midland Mencap will deliver the Walsall Carers service and are looking to appoint a Family Project Worker.

The role is part-time and based mainly at the Walsall Carers Hub & Walsall Disability Hub, Litchfield Street, WS1.

Through the use of the Carers Wellbeing Assessment tool, the Family Project Worker will help identify and improve the circumstances of unpaid carers in 8 key domains.

1. Health & Wellbeing. 2. Work, Education & Training. 3. Financial Wellbeing. 4. Time-out. 5. Other Caring & Family Commitments. 6. Relationships. 7. Home. 8. Feeling Safe
