Our recent Carers Voice event explored what Walsall Carers felt was the right digital support for them. We discussed the power of digital tools in supporting Carers, as well as the potential barriers to accessing such support.

We were approached by Commissioners of Carer Support Services in Walsall to hold this event. The aim was to gain a clear understanding of what digital support is needed, and would work for local Carers.

Thank you once again to everyone who contributed either on the day or online. If you would like to have your say, our online form will remain open until the end of December 2023. You can find the link here.

We hope to compile our report by the end of February 2024, detailing the valuable feedback and insights from Carers. We will then share this report with Walsall Commissioners where it can then be used to inform the development of a new digital support platform for Carers in Walsall that is accessible and relevant to the Carers it is there to support.

Once we have completed this work, we will seek to engage with Carers again to provide feedback on the response from Commissioners so that you can see the outcomes of your engagement with this event and the online survey around digital support for Carers in Walsall.
